I have a 55 ford fairlane and I chopped the top 4" and now I have a new piece of glass for the front and I need some one to cut it! I'm in the Houston area! So if anyone can held?

  2. I had all the glass replaced by Robert Valentine @ Dirty Leg Inc. He cuts his own glass, you can look him up on Facebook.

One of my buddies used to do his own with a sandblaster and lots of duct tape. He would mask off the whole windshield except the cut line and start blasting. I never got to see him do it, but it worked, although he said it was a slow process.

uh oh.... I think I would have had the glass cut and chopped the car to fit.

I've never chopped anything or cut any glass, but it just seems like success would be more likely that way.

  6. You can always do it yourself with one of those Home Depot tile cutting saws. No I have never done it but have seen it done. For the radius cuts just nibble your way around the corner.

Probably a whole lot easier than the back window.

Call some of the local rod shops, shouldn't be hard to find someone but understand you may go through a few windshields
