I am ready to install gl*** in my 31 A. I want to install front windshield in a fixed position. Any advice on how to seal properly. I have new gaskets, but can't decide to use them and also urethane around edges. Or Do away with the gaskets and seal all edges with just urethane. Which is the best way on a old school hot rod. Sure would like to stay dry and would like a nice clean look. Pics would be great!

I agree with Don, leave it like Henry designed it/

I've seen the winshields glued in and they still leak. HRP

Leave it original, it’s one of my favorite things. You won’t be able to stop it from leaking anyway. Those bodies are over 90 years old. They flex like crazy.
Enjoy the character of your coupe :)

Fixed position? Pitch the gasket and the frame, and use urethane to bond the gl*** to the body. Won't look at all like original, but the odds are good it will be dry.

If you want it to look original, or you want to keep the frame or the gasket, the odds are its going to leak anyway, might as well make it functional.
