Anyone know where to get windshield rubber for a shoebox ford (cheap). Carpenter wants $75.00 for the front and $55.00 for the back.

I think it's Steele Rubber Products. It's hard to find steel rubber parts :p

Just my personal experience, but I have had REALLY bad luck with cheap rubber parts. They are cheap for a reason. I know it stings pretty bad to get the good stuff, but you get what you pay for.

And considering the rubber for my Chevy's windshield is ovewr $100 from the good places (like Steele), $75 from Carpenter is not bad. He makes good stuff.

    You think $75 & $100 is expensive...try pricing/buying rubber for a 50's Cadillac...that'll make you pucker right up!!!

  6. I would look at Steel Rubber Products, when it comes to window rubber you usually get what you pay for.
