Windshield Trim Install-need help!

I tried the search function to no avail
Does anyone have any tricks or tips for installing the stainless windshield trim on a 46-48 Ford closed car?

 

lots of soap, good rope, install the gl*** with trim as an ***embly.do not try to install trim after installing gl***.

 

gl*** is already in-hmmm...

 

Besides having to install the gl***/trim together, there's also two types of gaskets; one for trim, one without. Make sure you have the right one....

 

Yep-I have the right gasket-looks like I will have to take the gl*** back out
