If it's not for a restoration and just for function, get a vacuum tank from any 70's car and a one way valve from the same car. Hide the tank like in the picture posted and enjoy your wipers. Put the one way valve between the manifold and the tank, to keep the vacuum in the tank when the engine has little, like when climbing a hill. If for a restoration good luck finding one.

The 50s Olds had a vacumn tank for the power brakes that mounts in the same location but finding a good one might be hard.

  6. Are you happy with the wiper function? I put one in mine, doesn't seem to help very much. Good vacuum from engine(mild 351W), so trying to troubleshoot.

I have been involved with V-8 Fords since the '60s, and have never seen an accessory Vacuum Storage Tank offered for sale. I think that it was rare to start with. There were some very interesting accessories available for '46-'48, Fords that most people have never seen.
