  2. The moderator of this forum has asked that we keep the topic to TRADITIONAL rods and kustoms, and since it's his sandbox, I will do what he asks. I will admit, however, that this German-made floorpan, circa 1969, now has a 10-inch extended wheelbase, Magnum 5 - inch drop I-beam, Posie's Super Slider spring, hairpin radius rods, and early Ford straight wire wheels,(16x5 and 17x3) and wide whites.. I'm just putting the engine in the wrong end....and get mad all you want, for the price of decent '40 front brakes around here, I spent another hundred bucks and got Wilwoods.I posted a photo of the completed floorpan a while back; it's on here somewhere...What I am doing is about as far from traditional as it can be, and I just want to "lurk and learn", and not cause any heartburn with the old-timers on here. Where I live, they have a thing called "Cruisin Grand" and there was an all-steel '29 RPU, built in the '60s. 401 Nailhead, Deuce grille, Lincoln and Buick brakes, '37 tube axle, for $11,900, but the owner is moving to the east coast soon, can't take it with him, and said he was open to offers.... hmmmmm... 5. Answering someone's question back on page 2 about a too-late entry for bumper stickers, and why I didn't use the name of a certain make of car.
I posted an intro & profile some time back.
