i think I've spent more time blowing snow this winter than i did in my custom this summer

  2. I lived in Wisconsin for 6 years, and I gotta say... the best two days in a snow blower owner's life are the day he buys it, and the day he sells it (because he's moved out of the 'snow zone')!

Seems to be on the way out here. Sunny and warm (comparatively) outside. You can feel in the air spring is near.

Now everyone can go from too much snow to flooded ba*****ts!

    Hello,

“Sometimes when you are facing adversity,” (sounds like Cannonball Adderley’s Mercy Mercy Recording live.)

With the changing weather in all parts of the USA, there is going to be some hope and clarity for all of us. Normally, we are in mild climate So Cal and over the winter, the weather, overall has just turned colder. As old folks, we are getting affected by the cold more so than in other growing up days. Now, going outside to the gas station, bank, or car wash, it is sweatshirt or jacket time. The heater has gotten more usage in the past several months, despite the fact that we don’t do long road trips any more.

When the rain does come, as it did yesterday, it is/was not just a little pitter patter, but a driving storm that throws the backyard furniture across the yard. The wind drove the raindrops sideways and was pretty powerful. So, yes, So Cal does get a blast of wind, rain, hail and sometimes the plants are growing sideways to weather out the current storm.

In our neck of the woods, our thing is that going down to the ocean gives one insight into how good it feels to just be so close to a beautiful side of nature. So, if you are not near an ocean, go to your favorite spot, in the mountains, nearby lakes or just a quiet place that all thing start to mellow out. A good at***ude is the start of a change. Accepting the awfulness is part of being resilient and we can all bounce back with vigor.

Despite the pandemic still wringing havoc with every state and despite the one/two shots, people are still getting sick. So take care of your own and stay safe. It is far from over. We have our two series of shots and still are isolating from others. It is just the way we see things. Again, something that makes your mind feel a little better, are nice sunsets, cool blue ocean views and a quiet place to take a nap or read. YRMV

Also, searching and viewing this cool 1940 sedan also makes it worthwhile… Possible future plans. The search and idea makes it less of a winter, blasting into Spring/Summer and less to none, in the pandemic stage, hopefully...

Snows almost all gone in Michigan. Seems that I had to work on the tractor more than anything else this winter. IMG_20210204_182805812.jpeg
