We will set two more record 90 plus degree days, then more seasonal. Each day that passes is one day closer to spring. Phil
We have been lucky here this Aug.The last 3 weeks plus some in the beginning of Sept have been nice here. Now its been going back in to the 90s again. I have been splitting fire wood all summer with my H.F. log splitter{I have had it 3 years and still works great}I ran out of fire wood last winter. Now I have it piled from my shop half way up to the cabin.,And they laughed at me all summer for doing it. I am ready for old man winter. LOL. Bruce.
Spoze to be 85* and sunny today for our rod club's annual lobster and steak feed... like to save today's weather in a bottle and pop it open January 30...
It's 88* here in Ann Arbore Mi. today. Looking forward to getting back home to a little more seasonable weather. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
One hour east of Toronto. I think record heat. 84 F right now in the shop. Yes one more day closer to Spring.
Sad to have to realize it but yes winter is here. This was last night. Sent from my A520L using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
second latest frost in Maine's recorded weather history... Nov. 1st 2017... I think Nov. 3rd 2014 is the record... GLOBAL WARMING ... call VP Gore...
Still have temps in the 60s here in PA. But soon time to put the monster to rest and tear down for the winter. And as most of you on here know, I HATE WINTER, AND SNOW!
Its 50 degrees here and rainy. I cut firewood yesterday. My firewood pile is puny. I will need a lot more before its over with.
Wow! Hard to believe my thread is coming back around to winter again! Snowed last night 40 miles from here in Bend but nothing here yet. Yet! Soon. Dave
Snow in the park last week and we had the fire place going for a few nights but its been in the 70 and hit 79 here yesterday.I sure hope I use some of that wood I cut all summer.Bruce.
-8 (F) this morning in the Northern Red River Valley. No wind for a change, and a thick layer of horror frost to pretty everything up. Heat is on in the shop, time to get serious about getting some things done on the '32 Plymouth.
For this part of the world, -8 isn't bad. Good for making ice on the lakes. The fun time to visit is in January and Feburary when the daytime high hovers around -18, there is a stiff NW wind, and the wind chill is off NOAA's charts. We just need a bit more snow and it will be time to get the other traditional winter Hot Rod's out.
28* this morning in the Flint, MI area. Time to bust out the camping gear...and get the chains on the plow tractor!
FrozenMerc- That there's a hot rod! Back in the day one of my dad's friends had a Panther with the sidepipes, wow what a heavy bastard!
58 here at night, 85 during the day. I'm wearin a big jacket and have the deflectors channel heat up on the ride to work. When it gets 70 here, I start lookin for the heater. Cold coward.
