I came home to a mess and got a mess dumped on top of it. Ended up spending all my shop time fiddling with my snowblower (new carb, they're too cheap to bother wasting shop time on rebuilding on these things) and cleaning up the property. I did put a cab on my machine however, which gets in the way a little but is TOTALLY better than getting snow and wind in the face and I highly recommend adding one to your rig. I get the job done a little quicker now that I'm not stopping as much to duck the wind and snow or because I can't see. So I'll have more time to play with my car instead ideally. I wish it tilted but this is just an in-process shot.
Its been record cold here. of course many farther north where much colder. Its warmed up to the mid 40's and raining. its predicted to be 60 tomorrow?
Herb Baker (86) braved the Idaho January Sunday to attend our (Coupes Inc.) safety meeting in his Deuce Coupe...
The weather sucks out here in the desert, its 51°. I had to put a long sleeve shirt to go outside, ridiculos.
Haven't had the Ford out in almost a week. The snow last Thursday messed us up. The side streets are still treacherous and lots of salt on the roads. We've gone from 3* to 33* today in a span of 4 days.
My '51 Hudson acts the same. I can warm it up but as soon as I start driving it cools down and the heat gets cold. Think I'll experiment with partially covering the radiator. Sent from my A521L using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
53* @ 0630 this morning it is now 1400 and 22*. Big front moving in. Sent from my A521L using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Camped in my tent Fri night. Got down to -3*F. Woke up about 3am with my eyelids frozen shut. Fire went out completely. I unfroze, started my fire back up and went back to sleep. Doing it again this wkend.
After 3 weeks of freezing weather it hit 60 here to day tomorrow its going to be 65{I might take the 56 Chrysler in to town for a drive} Then rain staring late Thur. and very strong thunder storms with high winds moving in here Friday {THUNDER STORMS IN JAN????} then Sat. the bottom drops out again with rain turning to snow and back in the deep freeze again. Did we anger the weather gods this year or what????Bruce.
74 degrees today in the Florida Pan Handle. Pruned our Crepe Myrtle trees before hanging out in the hot tub and heated pool.
I hadn't driven the Hot Rods since Christmas day. We've had a little snow, and then some very cold temps. It was about 50 degrees today. So I took them out for a little cruise, to charge the batteries . It's calling for some rain tomorrow. But I had FUN DAY today, and took a couple pictures too.
Got snowed on out at the cabin Thursday night after some hail or grapple. Melted off by late morning Friday. Really been a mid winter here, especially compared to last year. Dave
51 and light rain on the Island. Almost beach weather! Later in the week it will dip down to 34, otherwise 44-52 for the next 10 days. I've had the Ford out quite a bit, ran it from after work yesterday until after 9 at night.
Damn Snowing in the PDX area, I guess I was a bit premature the other day when I took the lawn chairs out of the garden shed.
I thought we were done with winter and snow this season. Haven't had much snow at all. Yesterday we woke up to the ground white with snow and really cold. That melted off and was sunny but stayed cold. Today is worse. White again, not a lot but enough to cover everything and be miserable. Single digit temps at night, 19 degrees right now, 9:40am. Stay warm! Dave
Hi It cooled off here also last nite, down to 29c. Are you up in Pine View? The white stuff down town also? Staying here for another month. Regards Dave
