I love shoeboxes! Is it a Crestliner? My Dad's 1st dirt track car was a '51 Crestliner. Here is my '51 Coupe too. Dave
Hello, You guys in the northern climate zones are tough SOBs... We are experiencing 50 degree weather at night and it is cold, but still shorts and sandals time during the day. A relative in Clarksville, TN just sent a text saying it is 17 degrees and snowing. He was a California kid until a family move to TN. He is cold, today. The big rainstorm from So Cal this past week finally got to the Midwest and moving east...The next one is on its way, too. Stay warm. Jnaki
Snow, Ice, Freezing rain coming. Better reach down and pull those belts tight Portlanders, you too Couverites.
We got 6 inches here last night, then going down to 9 tonight then back up to 65 by next weekend. What a CRAZY winter this has been. Bruce .
Working in the heated garage today while it was 10degress and snowing outside! Picture from under lift
Yeah winter is here. Down to 26 degrees in the Florida Pan Handle tonight. I'm freezing my flip flops off. Forecast mid seventies by the middle of next week. Gary
Just a light dusting Bruce, but they temperatures are suppose to drop into the single digits tonight. HRP
Sorry bro but anybody that starts a thread with " winter is here!" With the exclaimaition point, like it's a GOOD THING is seriously ill.....
Well it was.... for a couple days! Now I am tired of it. 8 more inches today on top of what we already had. Driveway has been plowed 3 times with a foot or more of snow each time. -15 degrees last couple of early mornings. We are up to 13 at 9:30 tonight and expecting snow and rain for 5 or 6 more days. I shoveled out 3 feet of snow and ice from in front of my shop only to have it pile back up the next day. Worst snow here that I remember since winter 1968/69.
Never left the house yesterday; except to take these pictures! Cold forecast says might be here a few days. You wouldn't think that a large carport covered on two and a half sides would get this much snow but that gap gets a lot of wind velocity crossing the open river. Stay warm, Al
Just when we thought it couldn't get much worse....... Now we are getting freezing rain It is really hard to judge the depth when one is out in this crap! Makes ya snow blind real quick. That is a '53 Plymouth and a '52 Chrysler New Yorker under that pile.
