I picked up a Winters QC with extra gears. I have the part numbers from the gears. Is there any way to tell the ratio from the part numbers?

Each set has two ratios, right -side up and upside down. The ring and pinion is one of two ratios, a 4.11 or a 4.56, I believe. If both the gears are the exact same size, or number of teeth that is what you would have. You can do the math to figure all this out, but most people had a chart. I cant help you with the part number question.

Look over on the bang for your buck thread last page and there is a guy that is like *Mr Quickchange. I actually chatted with him about his post not being spam. he may be able to pin point those for you real quick.

Count the number of teeth on each gear. It is just a ratio between them. Take the bigger number and divide by the smaller number and you have your ratio for the gear set. Multiply or divide that number by your axle ratio and get the high or low ratio for the quickchange setup.
