Hot Rods Winter time means tear down: 1934 Ford upgrades

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Chris, Dec 22, 2014.

  1. chris I am starting to feel like you are playing with my emotions on this whole family car deal!

  2. HAHAHA! you will find out about it when it gets here

  3. Can't wait for the next one! Always an exercise in pure, traditional hotrod building. Love it!

  4. Finally got around to installing a 41-48 station wagon rear bumper on the roadster. I had this rechromed last fall

  5. That wagon bumper looks really nice, dig the way it dips slightly in the center section.

    How's the Slingshot performing ?

  6. It runs really good but I have not gotten it out on the highway yet. I do not run thermostats so it has not really warmed up either. It runs best when warm.

  10. Thanks guys, so here are the final updates (i think I said that already?)
Over the weekend I sanded and reprimed the hood tops that I had louvered, and re-assembleled the hood. Got it installed and all is well with the world.

I also have had this NOS 1953 Ford K wheel for years. I had the horn ring rechromed a while back and I have been saving it for my 41 convertible. Friday night I decided to tr it out in the roadster to see what it looked like. I love it, it may end up staying in the car ;)
