Put the girls to bed for the winter. Its too cold outside, and they are too big to keep inside. Anyone else have that problem?

Got to love the snow. Barry, that is a bit much, but the kids would have so much fun tunneling through that.

Geez, I was upset that the high here today was only 56F! I'm sure glad I live where we can play with hot rods year round! Yes I'm in Utah, but the southwest corner where it's RARE we get snow. Ride your Harley year round kind of stuff!

Think Phoenix or Las Vegas climate minus 5 degrees, then throw in big the red rocks of Zion National Park, palm trees and black volcanic mesas and you've got a good idea. Sure it's 110 in the summer but that's why we have AC! :)

  9. My wife has a rule: everything must be hidden from view when she pulls in the driveway, so I have my buildings full. In years past, if I had to leave something outside, I would need to measure it when covered by 3 ft of snow
Got about 3" here in central Wisconsin today. That picture looks like what they get where my son lives up in Michigan. (lake effect snow)

We actually did not get a lot of snow. It just came with a lot of wind, and when it piles up in the "quiet" spots, it gets a little crazy. My driveway is about 75 meters long, and only about 20 meters has snow on it. But it is deep in spots. The pic is not from my house but about 50 miles north of here. My back patio door was about half way up and then the wind shifted and took half of that away.

After my fall that I posted about in my 40 thread I proceded to get my 4x4 stuck in my driveway this morning. I then got my old (95) yard truck going only to have the front axle from the 40 cabover go through the back window when I tried pulling out the first truck. The good is I can't go to work because the hi-way is closed. oh yea, nothing stuck now, just broken.

Jeez Dawg, you haven't retired yet and already the brain is going soft :) I am still trying to picture how the front axle of your COE went through the back window or your yard truck
Stay in the shop, have a beer, and don't hurt yourself

I had a truck load of s**** that I cleaned up over the summer and then when I cut the front axle out of the 40 I set it on top. Had my bride in the stuck truck and when I ran out of chain everything stopped but the axle.

So much for my claim of nice weather. We woke up this morning to 4" of snow!

Barry, the pic you posted, is that a family member? She posted the same picture on my wife's business' Facebook page.

Yeah its not the snow so much as single digits for the last 4 days. Even with a cloudless sky, its only about ZERO.

  21. We are supposed to get up to 0* today here in Wisconsin, normal high is 29*. Yup a little nippy! I'm not going to bother trying to heat the garage today, just writin' the day off!

I am with you Steve, taking care of my grandson today. We were going to work in the shop but just too cold. Got these picks from a buddy in the car club up here. Seems his project truck and parts truck got buried this week.

The only time we see a truck that buried in white stuff down here is when a hurricane pushes sand over everything that doesn't wash away. I don't know how you guys deal with all that snow...
