    Are these compatible to run v8 or Model A torque tube?

    Been a Winters dealer for 20+ years. They do offer the V8 rear in a V8 closed/torque tube application. Gary at Cornhusker

    Ok, thanx...now next, how about with v8 hubs n brakes? Not that I need hub n brakes, but with axles to recieve the stock stuff....or do I need to build from a center section only?

    Winters doesn’t have a tapered axle, so no the old hubs won’t fit. You can order the option to use the repro Lincoln brakes though. Involves a special offset on the axle. Krylon32 can order the correct combo for you and get a great price at the same time.

    I sell quite a few V8 rears with the bearing/axle spacing for the Boling Bros Lincoln brakes. I also offer a discount on the brakes. If you have a 36-48 closed drive rear you can just order the V8 center kit and use your stock differential, axles, tubes and brakes. They offer the V8 center in open or closed drive line. There is an upcharge for closed drive and you need to know if it's 6 or 10 spline.

    @Firecat7,
    To your original question:
    Are you wanting to run a V8 type Quickchange with a closed driveline (torque tube)?

    If so, you can use one of two Winters Center kits.
    The SR3620 kit uses the original Ford differential, axles, axle housings (trumpets) that YOU provide.

    The SR3605 kit has a limited slip differential and utilizes push in style axles which are extra. You still need to provide the trumpets, and they will have to have bearing cups welded on to replace the Ford ends.

    Both are available with the optional closed drive.

    If you are needing more information or pricing, start a conversation with me.

    Thanx for the info.....I don't know yet which way I'll go. I have 18' wires I want to use. The 9" drums make that a hassle. But yet so does building a rear from just a center. Hmmmmm
