Hot Rods Wire 1948 f1 from scratch

    Dennis Sobey

    got a new 12- fuse panel. There is no wiring in truck. Starting from scratch. Does anyone have a diagram or a scemetic for this?

    Get the 48-51 Shop Manual with 52 supplement. It’s available through several suppliers.

    Did you get a kit or just the fuse block? If it is a kit I'd suggest using their wiring diagram, that should answer most of your questions.

    kit but somehow the wife ordered it for me and ordered the one WITHOUT the diagram.. was 10 bucks cheaper apparently gakkkkk

  7. I didn't see it mentioned so gotta ask, Stock or Modified? My stock '48 has nowhere near that many fuses. My '50 kit was ordered by components used in the build (i.e. Chevy v-8, air, stock column,etc.). Makes a difference.
    Good luck,always glad to see another F-1 on the board.
