Technical Wire wheels?

Another question for my all original 1941 Plymouth. Has anyone installed wire wheels that use adapters on vehicles that use wheel bolts instead of today's wheel studs with nuts?

I know there is a locating stud on my wheel hub that would need to be ground off. I'm just looking for any help or advice from anyone who has experience mounting wire wheels to 1940s cars.
