wiring a generator / regulator

I am wiring my A-V8 and need help with the generator / voltage regulator....

The generator has A-F-G terminals and the regulator I have has I-A-S-F terminals.....how do I wire it all together?

 

what regulator is it? does it have screw terminals or a spade connector plugin?

 

Spade connectors....and the box it was in says "Ford"

 

that's a regulator for an alternator, you need an older one for a generator.

I figured that's what you probably had....the S is stator....
