I need some help with a wiring problem on my 1953 Ford.
Anyone know why when I put on the Brake Lights the Left Front Turn Signal also turns on along with the dash indicator light. I thought for sure it was a ground problem, but have not found it.
    Any other ideas?

In your car the brake lights work through the indicators. You have probably got the wires mixed up coming out of the steering column. The rear indicators and brake lights are on the same plug. You have connected your left front to the left rear in one plug and hey should be separate. Here is a wiring diagram for a 55 which should explain things for you.
