I got a 55 Lincoln Capri, New it was set up for power windows, ac, turn signals, power seats. Now that I bought it it is ruff the power window motors are still in the door but it has been gutted. no interior no switches no seats no radio no ac but I want to be able to add the windows and door solenoids as the owner before me shaved the handles . My Question is how many circuits can I get away with to be able to still run power windows, door solenoid ,blinkers, Electric fuel pump electric Wind shield wipers, and radio?

If you're shopping for a wiring harness, maybe you should look at what circuits are included in the different ones you're thinking of buying. Windows and door solenoids take a bunch of current, and some long wires, so it might be a good idea to get one that has those circuits included, rather than getting a smaller harness and trying to adapt a different part of it.

but we don't know what the rest of the car will be like when you're done with it, so it's just guessing for us.

  3. All of those "high draw" circuits can benefit from a circuit using a good (Bosch) relay. I used several on my altered to run a water puppy water pump, Holley fuel pump, etc. There's an article on here somewhere about using relays - I wired the altered switches with 18 ga wire for the most part, except for the actual feeds to the high amp items - lighter and looks better IMO.
