I'm trying to get my wolf whistle hooked up to my 53 desoto and I'm having some difficulties. It probably wouldn't be so bad if my local auto parts shops weren't so pathetic.

Does this look right? I'm hoping to find the right pieces I need online. Any ideas on these sizes?

Ya that should work. F&j the whistle pulls air past a nozzle and makes noise kind of like a reverse effect of blowing air over a bottle

It needs plenty of vacuum to work.. A dedicated line is best....

I only have one port. The one off the carb goes to the distributor.

  6. dedicate a manifold port drill/tap a new one rather than leaching off a brakes booster
use all hard line /pipe as hoses will collapse ... having a straght pull for your cord is best stretched tight...... a taught line to pull sideways works best

So here's what I came up with.

Installation. Made an L bracket, bought some chain for the pull. The 2" br*** extension/ball check valve broke (I had to JB Weld them together), so I subs***uted a piece of galvanized for now. I cut a piece of flared brake line to stick in the firewall for the chain. Istill have to make a mount under the heater control for the end of the pull chain. I need to replace my 3/8" male/3/8" female ball check fitting for the vacuum... anyone know a source?
