1952-59 Ford won a trophy today

    i took the 55 to a car local car show today to raise money for the local toys for tots. only about 35 cars showed up because of the weather. they had 4 teen age kids judging and had some weird cl***'s . when we registerd we didnt get to pick what we entering . anyway, they chose me for 3rd place antique car. i was surprised. the give one of my neighbors best unfinished for his rat rod. kinda funny . but had a good time .

    Congrats on placement !
    Hope they made some good money for the toys for tots ! That's what it's all about !

    It's good to have fun & good times with our cars, trophies that might come from having fun with 'em are frosting on the cake!

    not sure how much money would have been raised . 15 bucks a car . depending on who had to pay for the trophies. food city host alot of charity shows around here. with different charitys getting the help . this was was in maynarville. the halls food city helps the halls football team with a car show. there would have been more cars but the day started off bad , it was rainy . then the sun poped out about an hour before it started. several people i know wont get there cars out if theres a drop of moister on the ground. i ran through a mud puddle getting out of my driveway. thats the way i left it too. i drive mine.
