This may be sacriledge here, but I think I'd just leave her be except for wheel/tire combo. They came from the factory customized. :D

There is a Riv sitting in a salvage yard not far from my house. This car is complete (even the clam shell headlight covers) If you need parts let me know. Keith

Dig that thing. Always wanted one. Nothing cooler for 60's style. Good luck.

Now that's a find, wow, some people have all the luck. I hope to find another one someday. Until then I will be happy with my '65 Gran Sport.

Excellent. Good for you. I had a 65, wish I still did. There is a guy down the street that has one, he said if he was ever going to get rid of it he would talk to me first...

So ...... I get points/plugs etc...parts store dufus gives me all the wrong parts --DUH !! I change the oil and run my wife's emerey board ( for fingernails) across the points a few times --- put a shot glass of gas in the carb ...... the motor turns a HALF A REVOLUTION and the bitch is RUNNIN' !!!!!!!! This is after sittin' TWENTY-SIX YEARS !!! Man ... my new stuff won't start that quick....I had already drained the fuel system, put in 2 filters and 5 gal. of fresh Hi-Test in the tank......... one quart of tranny fluid later and she's is cruisin' the yard !!!!! brakes are next then a trip down the road ......
    Things are good sometimes ...............

  13. congrats man! They don't come nicer than that one. What a great custom, right outa the showroom. Glad to hear it started so easy. I had a 66 Riv., different body style , but very cool. We have a bro. with an awesome 63 in the Omaha Roadburners that really rocks, Silver flake top, hot rod black bottom, tons o pinstriping, lowered, red rims w/www, was voted best 60's ride at Cruzin the Heartland in 05. Enjoy your rig man, happy for you-Sololobo
