As for the interior how-to with metal question, aren't you guys forgetting that with exception to early GM, most cars were already all metal? Drill some holes and clips and screws, baby! i don't do wood either, or get it very often anymore.. , guess it comes with getting older.. i don't know.. .. got my "new" project home,, holy **** what a piece of junk.. yanked all the wood out, tacked the body together on a frame jig, and starter building a tubular skeleton..much easier for me use 1"> 1/2">and some 3/4" also learned how to make a nice radius curve in it. i think i made the door jams out of 2"?.. and suicided the doors, because a fellow told me i couldn't
