JDee: I watched the Skull tank video.Wild.
Have you tried using halograms,to get serious 3d effects?
I'm trying to find a place that sells cool halograms in small quantities.
Found one place a couple years ago, excellent selection, good prices, top quality.
But before I got off my ass, they got bought out by Dupont.Good luck getting anything from them now. [IMG]

Just bought some of that epoxy table top finish for clearing pinstripe panels.
The stuff goes on REAL thick,SHINEY,clear, with NO bubbles.
It's about $3.00 US a sq. foot,I'm impressed so far.

I always thought the stuff was called "Bar top finish".
The first stuff I got was from Niagra Hobbies,
it is called "Envirotex Lite Pour-On high glass finish"
Of course anything in a small box at at hobby store is expensive, but I wanted to try it out.

The latest batch I got was from a local industrial fiberglas supplier.
I asked if they carried "bar top finish",and I get a puzzled look. [IMG]
How about "Table top finish" he asks? Ok.
It is a generic no-name brand they package themselves, doesn't even come woth instructions.
    It works exactly the same.
I'm sure it is just a combination of standard resins they use for something else.
It takes 4 oz. to do 1 sq. foot.A gallon will do 32 sq. feet.
Equal parts of each, mix REAL WELL.
Pour it on and spread around, once the surface is covered,it will self level..
You need to have alot of light to be able to see where the bubbles are,
the bubbles need to be removed before it sets up or it can look cloudy.
Complete instructions are on that site.

I found other suppliers by searching for "bar top finish".
Some of these resins don't stand up very well to UV.
There are other resin products which are UV reisitant,of course they cost more.

I've got some 22K Gold Flake, and automotive pearl powders,I want to try mixing with this stuff.
