I'm looking for a quality interior wood kit for my '33 5W Ford. Anyone got any sources for good quality wood kits? I don't want to have to be carving up this wood. If I buy a kit, I want it to fit. I found a place called WoodArt in CA, but not much else. Anyone dealt with them? Good, bad, indifferent?

  2. they sell good stuff , i have used them several times..but sometimes delivery can be a bit slow

Do a search on here for Wood art.
It will tell you everything you need to know

  4. Call Dick Spadaro, EARLY FORD REPRODUCTIONS. 1 518 861 5367 OR PM HIM, HE IS ON THE HAMB.

I, too, need some wood for my 33 5W. I talked to Spadaro last year in L'ville. Said he stocks most pieces, and has his done by a local guy. My choice when I get ready to order. Wood Art sucks since the orginal owner sold out.

I got tired of waiting and being treated poorly at Wood Art. I called Wood and Carr and got great service and nice parts. I have not installed them yet,but they look good.I mentioned that I chopped it and he offered to make all the parts to fit the chop adding length to the top and shortening the B pillars. No charge !I thought all they did was woodies. Give them a shoot. Terry

DO NOT use WoodArt. They'll take your order give you an 8 week out delivery date then you'll NEVER hear from them again. I waited 11 weeks then called/e-mailed for another 2 and absolutely no response. I then cancelled my order via e-mail and they confirmed my cancelled order within 10 minutes. Don't waste your time with them.

Kirk, thanks. I read your accounts with them after searching WoodArt. I appreciate the input, and they are scratched off my list. I don't have the time or patience to deal with shitty customer service, especially when I live in Japan and my car is in Seattle.

Do any of these vendors, or any Alliance vendors carry wood kits for a 1933 Ford 1/2-ton pick-up?

I got the same run around and customer service with ford wood as has been said about wood art. I wouldn't recommend them either.

Why is the customer service so bad with some of these guys? Quite sad really.

Since I started this thread awhile ago, and never posted where I went, I thought I should do so. I used Classic Wood at 1006 Raleigh st in Greensboro N C 27405 336-691-1344
Everything was sent right away except the rear qtr. window, which he told me was back ordered for two weeks until he could make more and two weeks later that piece showed up. Nice product and fits well. I highly recommend them.

Pete, sorry, just address and phone.
I honestly don't think he does e-mail and the internet much. Mostly word of mouth. The Ford Barn guys are familiar with him though and have good things to say as well.

I also would recomend Classic Wood. I completely forgot about the A & B piller filler pieces. I called Classic Wood and they had them in stock for my 34' Tudor. I received them within a week of placing the call. Good people with good service.
