What is the easiest way to get the door handles off? is there a clip or something im not finding?

Im still using the inline 235 for now with the single barrel carb and the stock air filter... I want to replace the stock air filter canister with a smaller aftermarket mooneyes piece, how are you mounting these smaller airfilters with top wing-nuts when theres no stud in the center of the carb?

    Thanks...

the big clip slides in fron the side of the door, so when you tap it out make sure you don't rip the **** out of the weather-stripping
