I wound up having to slot the shock holes. The spread on the '59 lower arm was wider than the holes on the 5821 Sensa-Trac shock. This is the "after" shot. Took like 5 minutes per shock. They went up okay but I used bigger washers, with some luck they'll hold.

Bob...I think there is always interest in other guy's builds...that's why we're all here! I think most just don't want to keep posting the "looking good" replies to keep the threads from getting cluttered.
BTW...Looking Good!, you do need to get that Bridgeport cleaned up though!

Yeah, the Bridgeport is a mess lately... I need a new DRO for it otherwise I'd use it more. I also have a Clausing lathe to get up and running. I'll keep posting pix as I go.

They say that beauty depends on the eyes of the beholder. Maybe my mind is a bit distorted, but I consider these kind of parts auto-beauty!

Got the brake & clutch master bracket made up last night. 1/4" thick 6061-T6 aluminum plate. The thing on the floor behind it is the cat... she knows that kitchen = possible food...

More work done over the holidays. Borrowed a ***y hydraulic flaring tool which made things easier. All the lines came from NAPA and went in without a major struggle. Wound up making a new brake & clutch master bracket to give the clutch master a little more room & strengthen it up. I'll get some better pix over the weekend. 1229141608.jpg 1229141608.jpg 1231141119.jpg

Got the battery tray in, had to mill off the mounting flanges so it would fit in the stock location.

Got my wiring kit the other day from Kwik Wire... looks a bit intimidating but the instructions look good and everything is labeled.

I'm using what I have around the shop. It would cost me maybe $5000 more to scare up all the parts I needed to go with a 351 or 429. I looked at a BOSS 351, but it was a basket case, all apart and has been sitting outside in the rain.

I saw on the HAMB where one guy that did a similar swap referred to the Chevy engine as his a-hole detector which I agree with.

I would have to go through it completely, my engine I know in & out. The plan is to eventually drop a 351/429/460 into the Ford and swap the Chevy parts into a '66ish Nova.

Made up a mount for the harness fuse panel, may or may not use the standoffs to raise it up. ****py picture was taken at the bar, showing off the part to my homies.

Windshield is out, getting it ready for the new one. Primed and have to do some sealer in a few places. Gauge panel is stripped down, getting ready for the re-wire job.

I never intended to take the car down so far. But one thing leads to another. My gl*** guy was over a couple of weeks ago, picked up my window gl*** to do at his shop. He had a few good suggestions regarding the windshield and considerations since I'm going to be painting the car in the future.
