The workshop is on a farm, in Odiham Hampshire, just of junction 5 of the M3. You would be more than welcome to come down for a visit. It’s a pretty cool place, FH Ellis coach works is at the same place and he has some nice stuff going on at the moment. In the lock up next door to me is Paul Barrow’s long-term model A project. Up the road in Farnborough, there’s Billy’s, workshop, he always has nice stuff in, at the moment he’s doing a small block in a 57 Chevy truck and he’s got Gerry Dennings old blue 32 in for a new gearbox. If you fancy a day out I could take you on a tour

    Cheers Pete

And yes, my neighbors do appear to like me still!

I'm envious of most of you. Since this shot was taken, it has gotten really crowded. I can't work on anything now until my son move his welding stuff out. I even built an inside garage over the midget to keep it from getting completely crapped up and now I can't move enough stuff to get the door open.

    Hey Burndup,
Why did you blur out the car in those shots? My garage was once a carport cold in the Winter, hot in the Summer. Spring and Fall were pretty shitty too. Worked out there for 12 years. I earned my garage. Good luck in your digs. -stick

Ha! It probably was to cover up all those Hi-Pref AR racing stickers on his race-ricer.
If that stuff was out in the open like that in chicago the scrapers in the pick-up trucks would have scooped that stuff up. I lost a set of CJ-7 doors and my spare when I went inside to take a pee. One time I replaced acouple water heaters brought one of the old ones out to the trash by the time I got the other one out (5min) the first one was gone.
Dude throw a tarp over that stuff, a TEAR (tm) would come to my eye if one more banjo rear ended up melted down.

Hey Burndup, way to let all hang out [IMG] Just like my tarped rod out on the road. Am glad for the garage room for the extra stuff. Do any more runs @ Palmdale with yer truck? Any changes?

Truck's name has been changed to "The Shame of Palmdale" and will likely never race again!! [IMG] Kustom does not equal drag car... I'm really jazzed about someday running an ex-Uhaul on the track tho...

The "ghost vehicle" is in fact a ricer, not THE ricer... my old dead work truck... its awaiting a trip up to its new owner, he's gonna drop a V8 in it and therefore bring it back among the living for its 6th time... but the "Trad Gestapo Brownshirts" would be on my ass if it were observably observable.

I don't do stickers! I like Sleepers, my ricer is externally showroom stock save for a front lic. plate bracket delete.

Hmmm, except for the sticker that came with my BLEED cd, I bet that would knock a half second off my et...!

And the "open air shop" is insured by a company called RCMM. Stands for "Ruger, Colt, Mauser, and Machete." [IMG]
