  1. It was great to see you again Don. Thanks so much for the work you did on the gauge panel. Yup, you will be there for the lid lowering.:D Yes, you might just be able to drive my 58 for HRH 2018 but the 32 would be much cooler!

Had a great time although the weather really was the pits. Thanks to all who made it work. As far as the date goes, Google Iceman days in May. By today's calendar, May 19 to the 21st are known as the Iceman days. Prophetic for sure.

As always, it was good to see you too, Don. And thanks again for the goodies!

You've done plenty of work on the Hot Rod yourself.....i even have pics somewhere to prove it.

Like Jim says youll definitely be there for the chop, goal is some time late fall/winter. I have to make a replacement panel for the back of the cab first.

Next year we'll have 3 cars between us on the run:D

Hey all, We just got home from the WI Hot rod 100! My wife and I didn't get out of Freeport until after 6pm Friday evening, so we missed the Meet & Greet. After the cruise, we went all the way up the west side of WI, the made a right turn and went all the way across the top of WI. Then we made another right turn and came down along the east side to Green Bay before we cheated and drove across country home. I'll have more details later.

I thought we were going to get lucky Sat morning, we got the cruise off to a good start, but the rain started about 1/3 of the way through the cruise. It was cold & wet, but my car has heat and wipers. The folks with the open car are better people then I am, I don't think I could have done it in the rain and cold in an open car!
I've got pictures I will post later.'
It was a great time, and we are already looking forward to next year. Gene

My wife and I did Elmer's in the rain. If you bypassed it, its worth the trip back to see the place when its not raining, I know we will be going back. Didn't take any pictures, they discourage it, and my camera doesn't do so good in the rain.

After lunch we took off on an trip around the outside edge of WI. The intent was to travel up WI 35 to the north edge at Superior WI, make a right turn, the go across the top edge of the state, then make another right turn and travel south to Green Bay. From there, the destination wasn't real clear, we would play it by ear. I should point out, when we do a vacation, we do a slow and easy drive, stop at historical markers, and anything that might look interesting. We get going about 9am, and around noon we determine where we will stop for the night (no more then 200-250 miles in a day, or about 4-5 hours driving time), and secure a room at that point, the cruise until we get to the night place..

Our littler trip around WI was 1300 miles total and we took a week to do it. There is some great things to see and do in WI. I can share about our trip, but I don't want to hijack the thread if no one is interested. Gene
