No compression 56 Chevy's are like all the others . Your roadster has character and a personality the 56 is frickin Boaring to me ..Think before you jump ship on Hot Rod .

If I wear sneakers and shorts,I can stand my T for maybe a 45 minute ride...but I would still trade for the Pickup in a New York minute...

  5. keep the 56' and built a roadster pickup on a budget! HELL NO ON THE TRADE!

If the RPU was all original steel (with a flatty) I'd consider it. Based on how straight it is, I'm leary that's an original. The 56 looks done and fun. I'd have a hard time trading that 56 for a repopped car.

And, that's big for me, I own 3 roadsters and a coupe.

i personally like the 56 better. i LOVE old fords and im typically not a big tri five fan, but theres to much that needs to be changed on the 28 imho. you have a cool ride already, keep drivin the wheels off it

Depends on how much you like being exposed to the elements whether cold/heat/rain/snow/hail..I would not mind a open roadster for a second hotrod for fair weather cruising.

If the attachments were links to the add, I suspect it has been sold or the trade was made.

    I'd have kept the 56.

56 is made of unobtainium now. you can get a glass RPU anytime. I love the RPU, but being a bigger guy I am more inclined to want to drive a post 40's sedan More room and comfort. I drive my cars a lot so being able to sit bak and enjoy the ride is more important than other aspects now.

FWIW at 6'1"and size 13 shoes, i drove a model A once. It was a cool car.. I hated driving it (even though it was an auto) my feet didn't fit the pedals and a surpluss of pie made the driving possition a little snug. By that token I have driven a Lotus Seven (looks like a cigar with wheels) set up for a tall guy and I fit fine..

  18. I like the 56 and agree with 19fordy but its just a matter of personal preference and how much you'll be drivin....

I wouldn't trade for an RPU. Much easier to sell a Tri-5
