Just remember... its still about cool cars! There are few cool 4 doors. The thing of it is, if your just gana drive it and it doesnt matter, then go ahead and get the 4 door, but if you want to fix it up and make a rod/custom out of it, dont waste your time or money(unless it one of the select few i.e. wagons and lincoln continentals...). Thats my opinion.

  3. Anyone have a pic of a 26-7 T four door out of an old Rod and Custom. It was pink metalflake with a 392 in it I'd rather have that than a t-bucket......

If I found a good deal on a 4 door and liked that particular body style, I would buy it. An example would be if I found a good deal on a 4 door 1954 Chevy. I would buy that. I would also say, as mentioned earlier, not to buy it if it's not what you really want. If what you really want is a 2 door, don't waste your money on a 4 door.

The more doors, the better. I got tired of bending back the seat of coupes to get people, kids, dogs, etc. in the car for a ride. The more the merrier!

  9. Why the hell not have a four-door car??? First off, what makes them so terrible - two extra doors! BFD! So, if one of the four '66 Dodge Coronet factory HEMI cars came into your possession, you'd yank the engine and stuff it something way less valuable? Or, one of the handful of factory 427 Biscaynes out there? I seriously doubt you would!

A four-door is the ultimate sleeper ride! Take an early '60s Mopar, Chevy BelAir/Biscayne, or a Ford Fairlane/Mercury Comet four door, stuff a big-ass big block in it, and GO! A late '40s Plymouth, Chevy or Ford, or a Stepdown Hudson four-door is a great cruiser! Plus, if the back-seat passenger wants out, he can get out by opening his damn door! I don't have to get out and flip the damn seat down to let him out!

Four-doors are great for the family to get in the cruisin' and car fun, too! Ever try to stick three kids and a wife in a roadster or a T-bucket? Ain't gonna happen!

You guys that sit and bad-mouth four-doors have never even thought about the POSITIVES of having a four-door, have you? Thought not.

If you do some custom touches here and there on a more door, alot of times you can't tell how many doors it has unless you are really looking!!!!i.e.shaving the front and back door handles!

  15. I prefer Mordoors. Honestly. I love them. These cars are so big, it's only makes sense to have 4.

only if it was a 59-60 gm hard top or if I could get some 2 door doors to convert it (and the 2 doors were hard to fine)
