I'm torn, love my new Model A shop truck. But there's something else I would prefer to trouble myself with. A new challenge if you will?
    So would you do it???

I tend to hold on to my cars and trucks. I'd have to find something I really wanted more than what I have.

It seems I do it every time. I wish I would keep just one.

Why sell it off? Unless you don't like it at all, just park it for now and start the next project.
Right now I have one driver (54 chevy), one worn out car (55 Buick) that should come back apart and two (27T pu, 55 Buick) I need to start on.
Plus the Front engine dragster/comp roadster project, a bike and a vintage gokart.

For some its about the challenge of the build. Once its built its time for a new challenge. Nothing wrong with that its just how some of us are. I say go for it, plus if you build something new we get to watch another build thread!

  11. I know a lot of people do this but I like to enjoy the fruits of my labor for a while. I like the chase but the kill is sweet too. It's up to you in the end just decide if you will feel worse later thinking about the one you let go or the one that got away. ;)

It would depend on a lot of things.....cash flow, space to store a hotrod, how bad I wanted the new project, CASH FLOW, if I could keep this one and start another, CASH FLOW, mostly cash flow

That truck is sweet. I wouldn't do it cuz I like the truck, but if you like something better, go for it.

  17. Same here...Seems like once I'm done building, I get itchy for another project. I don't think I've ever kept one and taken the time to actually enjoy a finished (I know, they're never really finished...) project for any length of time. There's regret, but some of us are just that way... Go with it and try to learn to not look back...

  18. what pray tell could be more interesting than or should i say troubling than a model a pickup with a flathead, hahaha

  20. Lucky you put together a nice shop truck, I'm sure you learned a lot with that build, sell it and move on down the road, it will be good to have something fresh to build. I'd sure like to see your coupe finished up.

Dont sell it if you think this next car is "the one" and you can relax and enjoy. You will be wanting the next dream when you have that.

Yeah it's kinda funny. I'm really thinkin I just need a different challenge. First off I want to get back to work on my race car. Need money for that. And I also just want a roadster. Love my truck but I guess I have to sacrifice one to pay for more.. I think I can get decent money for my truck and move on. Screw it I'm gonna sell it.

I'm doing it now. Want to buy a '41 Ford Business Coupe ? Got about 500 miles on it. It's in the HAMB classifieds.

  27. I finished my car on the 23rd. in my mind, it was for sale on the 23rd. if i got the $$$ i want for the car it would be gone in a heartbeat.

I'm always 2 projects ahead, and i never fall in love with ANYTHING.

    its a sickness.

I was really looking forward to finishing my RPU and finally getting to a point where I could just leave it alone and drive it....quit spending money on a project and trying to get whatever finished for any specific reason. That worked for about two months then I sold it to put the funds and time into another project...I've already got two or three in mind after the current one is finished.

Sometimes the best part is the build. Sell it and get to work!

Then theres the one I will never get rid of but can't leave alone. It's done...no wait, lets do this. Ok, now it's done. Wait, lets change that. Ok, it's done again. No, wait....etc.
