Would you want a trophy, plaque or certificate and cash?

Cash is always great but how about low entry fee and nothing more than a note of recognition.

 

This has already been brought up on this thread BUT have yet to get any ideas on how the promoter would PAY the bill's. For just a small show the expense's can run several $1000 dollars. An event held at a fairgrounds at the very least costs approx $1500.00 a DAY not to mention all your other expenses like tax's, advertising, entertainment etc. One thing that can't be forotten and is a must for a promoter is the "Million Dollar" liability Insurance policy thats required when you host an event. As sad as it is nothing's Free anymore except the "Friendships" you make at an event which to me are priceless.
