I'd buy the LTD. But hey I'm not really in it for the money.

Wow, tough crowd! Both cars were local, the '57 I p***ed almost everyday on my way to get my kids. Here are pictures of both the '57 (in yellow as first seen before the ****py primer) and the "gold plated turd" as it has been called. Now keep in mind I would have given my left nut for the Chevy, but with 9 other project cars it was a hard sell to the wife. The pictures are VERY flattering as was the ebay description. It needed everything! Floors, trunk, every body panel, none of the trim was good, the chrome was shot and it was sold as "runs but need work and a clutch." Fast forward to the running driving PRESENTABLE LTD that has the 289 I need for my '65 Mustang convertible. Believe me, it was a much easier sell to the wife. If I had ANY idea the '57 would have gone for stupid money, I would have flipped it and THEN bought the LTD. Live and learn, never been know for my decision making ability. The LTD will make a better family cruiser anyway. Besides, I have a Model A pickup with a blown Y block to help me soil my pants (once it's done that is).

Probably made the better decision for me and my family at this point in time. How could I say no to those smiles?

I'll give you the convertible, nomad & vette, but the 150's are the rarest of the 57's. And too alot of people that can't handle all the gold & chrome of the belairs, they are indeed the most desirable...

I would have been all over that for 4500...and could have easily sold it down here for what it brought on ebay...
