6 months and 1 week to the DAY exactly...and i just drove this old jalopy up the driveway

December 12th i drug in the 32 frame and started pulling out the front and rear crossmembers

BenD met me at 4:00pm with the body and a T rear crossmember on that same day

6 months and one week later....I JUST DROVE IT UP THE DRIVEWAY!!!!

i dont have top radiator hoses yet....so it was a quick spirt and then coast back down...but WOW!!

i have never driven an old car before...and have only ridden in 1 stock model A and a stock 54 chevy....so this is my first trip in a hot rod and a roadster...and ITS MINE!!!

all these longs nights just became ever so worth while and i have learned a ton

theres still an awful lot to do to get the car on the road and somewhat legal....but i think this is the happiest i have ever been in my 23 year old life!

thanks very much to every one on here who has helped me or given inspiration

    Zach :D :D :D :D

Yo Zach, cool beans. I bought that Model A stuff I told you about. There are a couple old time defrosters, piece of gl*** suction cups and nichrome wire, in the pile. You can have one if you need. Think I remember having to have defrosters for inspection. Are you bringing it to the Jerk Sat. night?

    That is friggen cool.

Being a FNG I may be wrong but, I think that that's about one of the best posts I've seen in a while. It's kind of a window on what I first saw on this board when I found it a couple of months ago.

Guy buys old car. Gets pieces and parts. Gets ideas and help. Works *** off. Has really cool car.

    Good stuff!

Hopefully I can post on my project truck when I find it.:D
