I see a good business opportunity for someone. With the resurge in popularity of hot rods, I think they could clean up. Prob clear a million just from the HAMB cars!! ...but then it would just be a commonplace thing, and the cool would be ruined.

That is truly a beautiful piece..Man, whats up with you guys in Australia..a friend of mine just sent off to a guy there that hand makes hard to find tailight lenses, hes getting a pair made for a 60 DeSoto he has..I'm guessing its like the Cubans, if you didn't have it or couldn't find it you figgered out how to make it....

Kirk, that wheel is the Coolest, I think pearl wheels are the ultimate touch. By the way, they should have given you that one for all the publicity, I'll bet the turnaround just doubled!!

 

Hey Kirk I guess I could ask them Directly but do you think they could do shift Knobs, Window knobs, or dash panel knobs?
Also how much was shipping alone?

Way, way cool man. You better get a quick disconnect thing on that wheel and take it with you everywhere you go. I think we had a kitchen table that looked kinda like that when I was a kid. . .I didn't know it was so cool.

 

My guess is that the paint technique is simular to marbled paper making:
