Pretty neat vid........ Any more info on the Essex???? A thread link? I'm diggin' the BB Mopar, what intake, etc?
I'm sure Raygun could tell you more about it, but here's what I know: Started out as a 1929 Essex Engine swap: 1963 Mopar 413 Big Block Transmission: A833 Mopar 4 spd w/ Hurst Ram Rod shifter Rear End: 1959 Ford Ranchero 9" Front Suspension: 1937 Ford Front Axle With Spit Wishbones Frame: Custom 2x3 box frame Body Modifications: 5" Chop, 1951 Ford Tail Lights, 1939 Dodge D-11 Grill Oldsmobile hood ornament on roof...and a few extra personal touches. More picture of it on their site www.hotrodchassisandcycle.com/1929_essex.php If you got this year H.A.M.B. calendar there's a poster of it in the back....and I believe there where a few thread about it awhile back?!!
Thanks for the info hook up Biz. As for the manifold, it's a Weiand WC56 6x2 for Mopar B and RB engines. Also, Biz, you'll never need more of an introduction. You're one of a kind daddy-oh.
Thanks for the info!!! I'm a BB Mopar fan, yet have never seen a 6x2 intake for one(that wasn't homemade).....must be somewhat rare.....you say B and RB...so it's a log manifold then with rubber hose between I take it......cool.... I'll add that to my 'list' of stuff to look for...hahaha!!! The Essex is one killer ride....
Edelbrock made one to, but I don't have the part number any more. They both only made them for a couple of years.
I only wish I had time to work on it. I havn't touched it for a year. I can't complain that we have too much work though.
Thanks for the close up pic.......man that's RAD!!! I've got a 400 w/ old Weiand 2x4 and an A-833 I plan to build a rod around, but I really like your intake!!! I'll be keeping my eye's peeled for one.......
Can I call'em or what?! You guys are featured in the new "Powerglide magazine"...and even on the cover!
Man what a display of kool stuff, those head lights are awesome on that A.thinks for the video, very kool.
Thanks for the comment. The "A" you're refering to is actually an Essex Coach. Glad you really liked the display. It was alot of work, but worth it to get comments from people who enjoyed it.
