For a 70 year old man this has been an exciting year probably as much as I can stand. I have been in drag racing since 1956 won a few races but nothing like this year. To win the SDRA race series, get a great trophy and jacket is fantastic. I cannot describe the feeling except that is like I'm dreaming and will wake up soon. I want to thank all the people who made this one of the most memorable years in my life. My wife, Gary Sellin, Bob Hindman, Jim O'Hara, 2B, Todd Martin, Junior Clark, Larry Jones, Joe Hamby,Don Alexander, Jack Kirksey and I know I failed to mention someone but thank you for making this a great year. Oh yeah, Ron Golden and Dwight. When you are surrounded by nice people who want to have good clean fun, life is good. I wish everyone on this board a wonderful Christmas and hope next year is as good for everyone as this one was for me. I hope that more people will join this sport because they are missing out on affordable fun that can be rewarding because of the people in it.:D Roy

Well as most of you know, I got my HA/GR car finished late this year. But us guys out here in California have big plans for next year. And since I got my eyes repaired, I'll be able to drive again also. So look out, The Western Chapter will be on the roll..
And.."Merry Christmas" to all my new found HAMB friends.....**** M
