Earlier I created a thread regarding our Thanksgiving Day. No politics, just weather and mention of all the cool cars out and about. I have a hard time seeing why it would get scrubbed.
I think we had the same exact thing happen when you posted a thread on another holiday earlier this year. Your thread was off topic, it was about a holiday, it had nothing to do with traditional hot rods. take a look at the rules, we do not allow off topic threads, this is not facebook. If you have to make a thread about a holiday, It has to include cars
Well I did mention all the cool cars I saw in my travels. I suppose pics would have made it ok? Not trying to cause problems...
the key to making posts on topic is to have the main focus on the cars and a secondary on the holiday. an appropriate ***le might be something like "Show me how you celebrated thanksgiving with your hot rod" then post a picture of what you did with your hot rod on thanksgiving I knew I went over this with you before, several different times in fact. here is one of the old threads.. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/blocked-thread.1247436/#post-14269536
We aren't trying to give you a hard time man. Honest. We are just trying to avoid the Facebook phenomenon... Those types of posts stack up and the next thing you know, you have a front page about nothing in particular.
