Projects Wtf does this cowl belong to?!

    I found it in the woods in Saint Ignace...no vin plate no dash. Was a 4 door phaeton with front suicide doors and regular back doors. I have three of the 4 doors and what's left of the body but I can't hold it up to take pics of it and take pics of it by myself. Any until as to an actual identification of this thing would be a huge help so I can start looking for parts to build it!

    The ridges along the shoulder where top meets sides area look Buick.

    Looks a lot like buick but I dont think they had suicide doors.
    Pictures of the doors would help.
    But based on the suicide doors on the front im going to go with a 1924 Studebaker.

  9. Either way, welcome to the HAMB.

    I found a cowling down on the Cimarron river just west of the our place. A couple years back. Stuck in the high grass and trees. Actually, my son spied it and we went down and plucked it out. Thanks to our HAMB pals, we decided it was a Whippet. There it is up against the side of the shop.
