I resize all day long and my pics (I've got a lot to share) are still too*****in' big tp post. I'm no computer genious so if someone can explain to me what to do in ENGLISH I'd appreciate it. BTW...I'm using a Kodak CX6200 digital and try re-sizing with paint. Thanks.....Pete
1. Right click on the picture to get the size, as is, for reference. Click OK. 2. Right click on picture and click on Open with Paint. 3. Click on Image. Click on stretch/skew. Using simple math, figure out how much you have to reduce the picture to get to under 70k, and enter that figure in the stretch boxes. (if the pic is 140k, enter 47% in the stretch boxes to get the pic under 70k - you will get good at setting the right figure afer a few pics). Ignore the skew boxes. Click on file, and save as. This will save the picture to the folder that it is already in. CAUTION - Add a letter or number to the file number on the save as screen to create a new picture and save the original as is. Right click on new picture to check size. If still over 70k, repeat reduction process on new picture to get under 70k. The picture must be under 70k to post. Check the setting on your camera. If you have it set for the largest resolution, the pics will be huge. You can reduce the size of your pictures by selecting E-mail, or a smaller resolution if you like. Mutt
