My American Bulldog insists on eating our socks. She'll be caught walking across living room with a sock. I get it from her, scold her, she looks guilty and sorry, with head down, ears back, and tail tucked - we'll then sit down, she'll go in the other room and come out with another sock repeating the process.

Also wish i took a picture of our backyard/patio from last weekend. She ate our hammock, and 2/3's of our patio cushions. Looked like it snowed in our backyard. Spent almost 2 hours cleaning it up.

Actually, I know what happened. It happened to me to. Speedway has started packing their parts with hot dogs instead of peanuts and your poor puppy just couldn't resist the tempting smell.

Why are you blaming UPS for your dog shredding the box?:D What did expect the UPS guy/gal to guard the package until you got home?:D

Here's my dog waiting on the UPS driver. He loves that guy, anyone else would lose a limb or two.

When he hears the big brown truck he gets up a waits for him to drive up, damn dog won't even bark. FedEx he doesn't like so much, I have to go out and get my packages; he makes sure the FedEx guy don't get out of their truck.:D

you got to watch that eat'in stuff, our chow was always eating different things. then we had a 2000.00 dollar vet bill to remove something that would'nt come out, so much for my air ride for a while!

Because I have a witness that says the dumb*** (ups guy) chunked the package 20 feet from gate to the porch! What if it was breakable? They don't give a ****! They could have brought the package back to the ups warehouse and I could have picked it up.

This is a 20.00 dog toy sold as being virtually indestructible
    [IMG]

This is my daughters golden lab that can destroy almost anything that she gets hold of.
[IMG] she doesn't like her photo taken.

You name it she has chewed it up including the handles on the wheelbarrow.

So far the only things she hasn't been able to tear up are an old lawnmower tire and a dog toy that is made of three rings that you play tug with the dogs with.

Reason #41 we don't have a dog or any other pet!

  19. Give the dog a break ! He was hungry, for some of the Chinese rice paper, that it was w****d in !

  20. Dont think its just the big dogs that do this. My girlfriends 10 month old Rat Terrier shreds anything she can get a hold of. Even her 45 dollar dog bed and 15 dollar leather collar.

Try a Beagle for chewing up anything and everything. 2 pair of gl***es,leather couch and loveseat,on and on. But he is the most loving little guy ! The only toys that last more than a day tops with my 9 are chew hoofs and cheap plastic sqeeky dumbbell looking things. The expensive ones don't hardly hit the floor before they are history.

Had a Chocolate Lab that would carry off tools ,nuts , bolts and put them in a pile about 20' from where you were working on stuff. Loved to chew on plastic even when she was older.

Hah! My Brittany decided to un-wrap a box full of hubcaps for me the other day. For some reason these damn dogs have a taste for packing paper...

How do know it was the dog and not the UPS driver that tore it apart?

Damn I love labs. 30 years ago I had a black lab and we both attended obedience training. She would get upset when I left her for work. I had a leather stroker cap that I wore to all the shows for several years. She reduced it to shreds. I was soo pissed until she came over and licked my face.:D
