I have had a love affair with old 4wds and antique stuff since I was knee high to a grasshopper. The WMSTR in Rollag MN featured military vehicles this year, instead of a tractor brand. This Jeffery was there, first one I have ever seen in person. IMG_0484.jpeg 4wd, 4 wheel steering, and 4 wheel brakes. Puzzled by the long nose, as all pictures show short nose. Regardless…

IMG_0486.jpeg How about a couple of Minneapolis Moline Jeeps? Actually 3 were there. One got a continuous ride around the grounds on the flatcar it shared with a half track on the train pulled by a steam locomotive.

  5. Very cool! Those MM jeeps would be great around the farm.

  6. Looks like they might have been airport "tugs"

They used them for tugs on the improvised air strips.

Instead of bump stops above the axles on the Quad, they had a coiled up leaf spring on the axle beam at each corner. I did not know that til I saw this. Very heavily sprung.

No, but there is usually a Model T roadster pickup/RR tool truck by the tracks, when it isn’t running around the grounds.

Will a WW1 Holt crawler suffice? Also, a steam shovel loading a ‘32 Ford BB
