  7. I gotta run, so can't talk long.

I did get a call the other day from the base and found this out...

    They do want our help.

They have a few small buildings that need to be moved from their old property to the area they are focusing on. Just a few yards away.

They will allow me to curate a building for vintage style hot rodding. Also, any other vintage curation which will draw foot traffic, volunteers, good home grown fun, attention for the base, etc.

A hot rod show can be held on the property. Count on it!

There is short time storage for cars for people without. (winter) Inquire with me if interested.

They have the largest collection of silos from one of my favorites, Buckminster Fuller. Sick!

    Lots more to tell...

This is a great thread but I've got to say thank you to you DD. Tonight was the first time I heard a banger that sounded like that! It...ummm...stirred me! I could get really used to that sound!

We now return you to our regular program. As you were.

I hope this does'nt turn into another MotorSpeedway fiasco.

  11. Hahahaa, NO! That won't happend!

I will never do bussines with anyone without a contract again! Plus, this is all non profit, and for the good of the base.

I erased all the stuff I just said about the park... hahaaa.

  12. I've been sitting back reading this thread since you first posted and I'm quite interested to see how the place turns out. Hopefully you can shoot more footage of the place soon. It's good to see that things are working out so well.

  13. Wow cool location. My other love is USAAF stuff. I had a '44 Dodge WC51 before the Bel Air and woulda killed for a place like that...
