Event Coverage WyoTech closing?

The thing with schools like Wyo-Tech ( like being the operative word here) is that they are a lot of hype. I have had guys come from tech schools all my life that don't know their hat from a donut and still think that they should be the supervisor. Some of them figure it out and start learning and the others are working flipping burgers and paying exorbitant student loans. The govt has started leaning on the schools because of that.

I got nuthin against education, I have some, prefer to work with my hands. The students need to understand that education isn't a magic bullet, you still got to start at the bottom and learn how the real world works.

 

Amen to that. When I was in my vo-tech school my jr and
sr years in high school I knew I was gonna take the auto body world by the horns. After the shock, I realized I had a leg up with some basic skills learned, and then I went to work on learning more.
