This is ny 1st post on this site. Anyone aout there see the x prize for automotive. The challenge is to build a production ready car that makes 100mpg. The rules are fairly open in terms of the fuel used and construction. The car needs to be safe, carry 4 passangers and most importantly be something people would buy. My question is: Don't we have this car already? GM built 1 in 1989 and used it the movie Demolition Man. Take that car, put in a diesel HVE and viola you won the 10 million. Anyone out there want to jion forces and take home the prize? I'll make the phone calls.
I'm into seeing how much gas I can burn. The more you burn the faster you go. (At least thats what I was told) My solar powered hot rod gets turned away like billit at the Round-up. haha Welcome anyway, your not a tree huger are you?
