Technical X transmission

I am looking for any information on the X transmission. The case was reportedly cast by Offenhauser and uses Chevy 3 speed gears. I recently acquired a 32 Ford 5 window with an Ardun engine. The transmission is one of the aluminum cased X transmissions. Looking for any information and experienced opinions on this transmission.
