XM radio from my ipod hook up?

    Ok i did the i pod hook up from the tex here on the hamb. It works good.
    But i won a xm radio set up at a xmas party and want to tie that in how do i do that? Any elec guys out there?

  6. how did you hook up your ipod? using an adapter cable to an amp? if so, this will be easy. check to see if your xm unit has any external outputs and get back to me...

    it has ant in / audio out/ and dc in that is all.
    i did the ipod hook up from tex files here on the hamb
    so i had to up in a ipodplug with rac cable to a volume control box rca cable back to a amp. and a 12 volt power

    Plug the cable that you used on your Ipod to the Audio Out on your XM and it should work

    it has a right and left rca out of the ipod/ and a small jack for the xm audio out
     
  10. simple...go to radio shack and get a 3.5 mm (standard headphone jack) cable to rca adapter cable. you can use "y" adapters to connect both ipod and headphone jack, or unplug ipod cable at the lc-1 volume control and just swap cables depending on which device you're using...too easy. lemme know if this helps!
