    That is what I use for a failure resistant install.

    EDIT: Note - RTV can render any exhaust A/F sensors useless. If you have exhaust EGO sensors better stay away from red RTV.

    Russ, no recommendation on a filter, it’s just common to go from a pump thru a filter to the main engine gallery.

    I installed a screen in the suction from the pan to the pump to catch “ the big chunks” and Joe always complained about it as he saw it as a restriction. I still use the screen device since it was my oil pan. It’s in a -12 line.
    Thanks for the compliments but you guys have skills way beyond mine. I just hate to see an engine hurt because I missed something or just didn’t know…..

  3. I have screens in the pan and a filter in the return to the oil tank. Appreciate your input.
