hey, I'm in the process of putting the stuff together, got a 292 and a muncie, y-block bellhousing and transmission adapter from riley-auto. just wondering if anyone has a similar setup, cause I'm not sure what clutch parts to order. I have the y-block pressure plate. not sure about which chevy 11" 10-spline clutch disc to use. opting for hydraulic throwout bearing. anyone? thanks, al

Whatever size your pressure plate is match that to a Chevy Clutch disc. It doesn't care if it's Ford or Chevy. There's lots of 9", 10", and 11" Chevy clutches that'll work.

yes, was hoping for anyone driving this setup. hope the clutch disc's springs are not too big or anything else not making it fit... thanks, al

  4. That shouldn't be any problem, the clutch discs are very similar as long as you get the right diameter.

Just wondering if you've checked/fixed the input shaft length and pilot bushing issues? That adaptor will have the trans pulled back further than it was designed to go, not to mention whatever difference in flywheel depth between Chevy and Ford...
